मगसर सुद एकादशी को मौन एकादशी का पर्व आता है. इस दिन तीनो 24 के तीर्थंकरों के 150 कल्याणक हुये है. इस दिन उपवास करनेवालों को 150 उपवास का फल मिलता है. इस तिथी की आराधना सुव्रत सेठ ने की थी. उनकी कथा यहा जानेंगे. 11 वर्ष मे पुर्ण होता है यह तप |

एक बार नेमिनाथ भगवान द्वारिका नगरी पधारे. उन्होने वैराग्ययुक्त देशना दी. श्री कृष्ण वासुदेव ने प्रभु को वंदनकर पुछा – “वर्ष के 360 दिन मे किस दिन थोडा तप करने पर भी अधिक फल मिलता है?”
श्री नेमिनाथ प्रभु ने कहा – “मौन एकादशी का दिन सर्व पर्व मे उत्तम है ”

इस भरत क्षेत्र के वर्तमान 24 मे

• अरनाथजी की दिक्षा
• मल्लीनाथजी का जन्म दीक्षा के़वलज्ञान (3)
• नमिनाथजी को केवलज्ञान
• ये 5 कल्याणक हुये.

इसी तरह 5 भरत और 5 ऐरावत इन 10 क्षेत्रोमे भी 5-5 कल्याणक होनेसे कुल 50 कल्याणक हुये. गत चौबीसीमे 50 कल्याणक हुये है और अनागत चौबीसी मे 50 कल्याणक होंगे. इस प्रकार इस दिन कुल 150 कल्याणक हुये है |

यह सुनकर कृष्ण ने जिज्ञासावश पूछा, ” भगवन, कृपया मुझे बताइये के भूतकाल में किसने इस दिन की पूजाकी व इसके फलों को प्राप्त किया ? ”

तब प्रभु नेमिनाथ ने सुव्रत सेठ का उदाहरण दिया जिसने इस दिन पूरी परायणता से, भक्ति से धार्मिक क्रियाओं का अनुसरण करके प्रतिज्ञा पूर्ण की और मोक्ष प्राप्त किया।

सुव्रत सेठ की कथा

विजयपाटन नामक नगर के घातकीखंड जिले में सुर नामक व्यापारी रहता था। उस राज्य का राजा सुर का बहुत आदर करता था व उसे बहुत ही बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति समझता था।एक रात्रि, शांतिपूर्वक सोते हुए वह मध्यरात्रि के प्रारंभकाल में जागा, तभी उस पर एक अलौकिक प्रकाश पड़ा व उसे दृष्टान्त हुआ की वह अपने पूर्व जन्म के अच्छे कर्मों की वजह से इस जन्म में प्रसन्नतापूर्वक संपन्नता से रह रहा है। इसलिए अगले जन्म में सम्पन्नता से जीने के लिए उसे इस जन्म में कुछ फलदायक करना पड़ेगा क्योंकि इसके बिना सब निरर्थक है। सूर्योदय के बाद शीघ्र ही वह अपने गुरु से मिलने गया और उनके उपदेश को सुनकर वह बहुत प्रभावित हुआ व गुरु से पूछा, ” हे गुरुदेव ! जिस तरह का कार्य मैं करता हूँ, यह संभव नहीं की मैं नित्य पूजा पाठ व अन्य धार्मिक क्रियाएँ कर सकूँ।यदि आप कृपा करके मुझे कोई एक दिन बताएँ जिस दिन मैं अपनी सब धार्मिक क्रियाएँ कर सकूँ और उनके अधिकतम फल( पुण्य ) प्राप्त कर सकूँ ?”

तब गुरुदेव बोले, ” मगसर माह के ग्यारहवें दिन अर्थात मगसर सुदी ग्यारस को तुम 11 वर्ष और 11 महीने तक लगातार मौन रखकर पौषध रुप में व्रत करो।यह प्रण पूर्ण करने के बाद तुम हर्षोल्लास से मना सकते हो।” यह सुनकर उसने अपने परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ कथित काल तक पूरी भक्ति से एकादशी का व्रत किया। तपस्या पूर्ण होने के 15 दिन बाद उसकी मृत्यु हो गयी और वह 11वें स्वर्ग( देवलोक ) में गया।वहाँ 21 सागरोपम की आयु पूर्ण करने के पश्चात उसने भरतक्षेत्र के सौरीपुर नामक नगर के सेठ समृद्धिदत के पुत्र के रूप में जन्म लिया।उसके पिता द्वारा उसे सुव्रत नाम मिला। जब उसे ज्ञान हुआ की एकादशी के दिन की पूजा करने के कारण उसे यह सुन्दर जीवन मिला है व वह 11वें देवलोक में गया था, उसने अपनी 11 पत्नियों के साथ

एकादशी का प्रण लिया।उसकी सब पत्नियों ने केवलज्ञान प्राप्त किया व मोक्षगमन किया।कुछ समय बाद ही राजा सुव्रत ने भी तपस्या करते हुए केवलज्ञान प्राप्त कर लिया। देवलोक के सभी देवताओं ने उनका यह मुक्ति दिवस मनाया।तब फिर उन्होंने कमल पर विराजित होकर अपने शिष्यों को उपदेश दिए।कुछ वर्षों बाद उन्होंने भी मोक्ष प्राप्त कर लिया।

इस तरह, भगवान नेमिनाथ ने कृष्णवासुदेव को यह कथा बताई और उसके बाद कृष्णवासुदेव व उनके समस्त राज्य ने इस सम्यक्त्व राह को अनुगमन करने का निर्णय किया।

मगसिर शुदी ११ यानि मौन एकादशी है।

इस दिन भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य के मिला कर तीर्थंकर भगवंतो के कुल १५० कल्याणक हुए है। इस दिन धर्म आराधना और तपस्या करने पर उसका १५० गुणा फल मिलता है।

अतः ये अवसर हाथ से न गवाएं, अधिक से अधिक धर्म आराधना और तपस्या कर पुन्योपार्जन करें।

150 कल्याणक के नाम /150 kalyanaks names

The festival of Maun Ekadashi (also known as Maun Agyaras) is an auspicious Jain festival which falls on the 11th day of the month Magshar (Magshar Sud 11). According to the English calendar, this year it falls somewhere in the month of December.

A person who worships this day of Ekadashi with all the rites and rituals every year for a period of 11 years and 11 months is said to achieve salvation.

Significance of Maun Ekadashi :

On this day of Ekadashi -

1) Shri Aranath (18th Tirthankar of the Jains) renounced the world and became a monk.

2) Shri Mallinath (19th Tirthankar of the Jains) was born, renounced the world and attained Kevalgyan (Liberation).

3) Shri Neminath (22nd Tirthankar of the Jains) attained Kevalgyan.

Thus, 5 Kalyanaks of the three Tirthankars are celebrated on this day. There are also Chauvishis in other kshetras, namely Bharatkshetra and Airavatkshetra which also had 5 Kalyanaks. So, 5 kalyanaks in 5 Bharatkshetras comes up to 25 Kalyanaks (5 X 5) and 25 Kaylanaks in the 5 Airavtkshetras. Hence, 50 Kalyanaks in all the kshetras for the past, present and future chauvishis gives us 150 Kalyanaks.

By fasting for one day,we get benefit of 150 fasts

On this day the following rites are done :

- A fast is observed if possible in Paushadha with keeping silence
- Kayotsarga of 12 Logassa
- 12 Khamasanas
- 12 Swastiks and 20 Navakarvalis of the Jap Pad

'Aum Rhim Shrim Mallinath Sarvagnaya Namh'. 

The Birth, Diksha and Omniscience Kalyanakas of Shri Mallinath, the Diksha Kalyanaka of Shri Aranath and the Omniscience Kalyanaka of Shri Naminath had happened, So total five Kalyanakas are celebrated on this day.

5 Bharat kshetra Na 75

That way 150 Kalyank at 1 Day

Whatever dharmik kriya you do, you get results of 150 times
Even by atleast doing 1 Navkarsi/ Chovihar, 15000 years of Narak Years are reduced.

Neminath bhagwan told the story of Suvrat seth to King Krishna.

STORY OF SUVRAT SETH.

In the province of Ghatkikhand, in the town of Vijaypatan lived a merchant named Sur. One night, sleeping peacefully, he woke with a start in the midnight and it dawned upon him that because of the good deeds done in his previous life, he is living happily and lavishly in his present life. So, in order to live with prosperity in the next life he will have to do something fruitful in the present, as without this everything is meaningless. 

Soon after sunrise, he went to meet his Guru and listening to his sermons, he got inspired by his teachings and asked “Guruji, due to the kind of work I do, it is not possible for me to continuously worship and practice my religious rites. If you could please tell me one day on which I can follow my religious rites and achieve maximum results (punya)?” 

At that time his Guru replied “On 11th of the Magshar month (Magshar Sud 11) which is an Ekadashi, you should fast in the Paushada form with silence for 11 years and 11 months continuously on that particular day. After completing this vow you should celebrate it grandly.”

 Listening to this, he along with his family members commenced the Ekadashi fast for the said period with complete devotion. 15 days after the completion of his penance he died and went to the 11th heaven (Devlok).

Suvrat Kevali

After spending 21 Sagaropam in the 11th Devlok, he took birth in the Bharatkshetra , in a town Sauripur, as the son of Sheth Samruddhidat. He was named Suvrat .When he realized that he had got this beautiful life and had been to the 11th Devlok because of worshipping the day of Ekadashi, he, alongwith his 11 wives took the vow of Ekadashi. After a while King Suvrat while doing his penance achieved Kevalgyan. All the Devas from the Devlok celebrated his day of liberation. He then sat on a lotus and gave sermons to his deities. After a few years he acquired Moksha too.
